Patriots Take Over of the Philadelphia Eagles

As cameras transitioned around the Eagles' stadium during the fourth quarter, the seats were looking bare and the fans had solemn looks on their faces. With good reason, i might add. The Eagles started off the game against the Patriots by scoring a touchdown, which sent them immediately ahead, 7-0. However, the game ended 38-20. Patriots.
The Patriots offense racked up almost 500 yards by the end of this game. Besides Brady, the 18-point lead was all partly due to Welker, Branch, Gronkowski and Hernandez. The Patriots defense seemed to have improved a little bit. The past couple of weeks it really has been slowly improving. What i enjoyed with the defense was watching Edelman perform multiple tackles. Edleman recently started playing defense, which is a good thing considering so many Patriots' players seem to be on the inactive or injured list.
Something i have been noticing lately are the missed field goal attempts. Missing that field goal attempt not only upset me, but it obviously upset Tom Brady as well. The camera caught him at a disgusted time showing him cursing. Quite the competitor and amazing. Speaking of which, let me just say that this is a quarterback who i think deserves to made MVP for the second year in a row. For the past couple of weeks, Brady has been playing with a hurt elbow. We still seemed to score 38 points and he was able to throw over 400 yards tonight.
I think its time that people realize that, yes the Patriots started out the season playing not that well, but now they have become almost unstoppable.

Patriots Takeover For 1st

Words cannot describe the happiness & what a stress reliever it was to watch my New England Patriots beat the New York Jets and their fat big-mouth coach, Rex Ryan on their own turf. It was fantastic.
To be honest, i wasnt so sure if we were going to be able to beat them. We were running on a 2 game lose streak after coming off of BYE week. It wasn't looking good for us. Defense has been horrible. Haynesworth was let go. (thank god). And Tom Brady wasn't looking so good either. Offense was okay but it could have been better. The Jets were on a three game win streak. So you can see where the 37-16 win came as a HUGE surprise.
Tom Brady played pretty well this game. He managed to throw THREE touchdown passes. Chad Ochocinco even caught the ball once or twice! That was exciting to see. About time he did! Even with Brady so well, i don't think that we could have had such a fantastic victory against the Jets without Gronkowski, Branch, & Ninkovich. Gostkowski wound up kicking three field goals!
This makes for two games that the Patriots have played the Jets with us winning. We ended up winning at New England on October 9th as well.

Peyton Manning: 2012 MVP?

Apparently, according to some sources, the top runners for the 2012 MVP spot are as follows:

  1. Aaron Rodgers-Reigning 2011 SuperBowl Champ & current quarterback of the only undefeated team in the entire NFL.
  2. Tom Brady-2011 MVP, quarterback of the 3x SuperBowl champs: New England Patriots, won last year with unanimous votes.
  3. Peyton Manning....
First off, i can understand Aaron Rodgers. He's leading the Green Bay Packers amazingly since the leave of Brett Favre. His talents led his team to the Superbowl last year against the Pittsburgh Steelers, in which they won. And if you look at the Packers this season, they are the only undefeated team in the NFL heading into week 10.

Now let's take a look at the sexy Tom Brady. Straight out of Michigan, the 199th overall pick in the draft back in 2000 he was drafted by New England. Since he was drafted he has constantly been showing everybody, fans and jealous haters how talented he truly is when it comes to football. He lucked out when Drew Bledsoe was injured in a game against the Jets. Even though he started out as second string, he soon proved his spot on the team. Tom Brady has led the New England Patriots to 3 Superbowl wins. And of course there was spygate. Belichick, Brady, and the rest of the Patriots were caught cheating. Ever since, they have been called cheaters. Who gives a shit. Every team cheats. The Patriots were just stupid enough to get caught. Now back to the present. Brady isn't bringing his A-game to the stadiums. His plays are being intercepted & plays are being incomplete. We have lost 2 games in a row. It's honestly disgusting. Of course, in my opinion i would vote for Tom Brady.

And thirdly, let's examine Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning has one superbowl ring. One. He has not stepped foot on the field during the 2011-2012 season due to an injury. The Indianapolis Colts are now 0-9. Some say its simply because of Peyton Manning. His absence has taken a dramatic toll on the team. Well, that may be but that does not mean that he deserves the MVP spot.

Football is a team sport. It is not a one-man show. If one player is out, then they should still be able to work together as a team to get some wins. Tom Brady was out in the 2009 season and the Patriots were still able to go 11-5 with second-string quarterback, Matt Cassel. They barely even missed playoffs. The Colts aren't even going to make playoffs this year. Peyton Manning should not even be considered or in the running. He may be a great quarterback but he does not deserve MVP for this season.

Release of Albert Haynesworth

I don't think that there are any words that could describe how chipper i am upon finding the recent news that the New England Patriots have cut Albert Haynesworth. This has sparked some talk about whether or not we'll get Randy Moss back. Personally, i would say no to that but at the end of the day he was a good player.
But back to Haynesworth. Finding out that the Patriots had gained Haynesworth was somewhat good news. Yes, he's an amazing player but he is a little on the controversial side. I don't even know if you can say that he was a phenomenal player because he's contributed to three tackles. THREE. We're heading in to week 10. I guess this "career-saving" move just wasn't so career-saving. In an interview back in September he claimed that New England was going to be the last place he was going to play. I bet he didn't realize his career in New England was going to be so short-lived.
In my opinion, Washington should have just kept him.  I think we could have found someone who would have been a better option.
Now, let's get rid of Ochocinco!!!!!

New York Giants

What the hell was going on the field tonight? Like seriously. New England has been playing so horribly lately. It's pitiful. Not only did we lose last week to the Steelers but we ended up losing to the New York Giants. This game was different.
Defense sucked of course. Ochocinco still has yet to make a difference on this team. He was a waste of a pick that's for damn sure. I don't  know what Belichick is up to or what he's even thinking. He needs to do something b/c we need to win some games. The best we can do now is 13-3. I would have preferred it to be more like 14-2 as the lowest but nope.
New York Giants just got lucky this game. We had the win in our hands but they got lucky and scoring a touchdown with only 15 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

What a disappointed New England has been this year. There's no way that they are going to be in the Super Bowl this year...no way. And i don't see Brady winning MVP again. It's probably going to go to faggot Aaron Rodgers...

Steeler's Game

So this past Sunday, the Patriots played in Pittsburgh. And we lost. I figured that we probably would have since we had just come off of a bye. So with this loss, we now fall to (5-2) which is still pretty good considering the Indianapolis Colts are (0-8) now. That's horrible, absolutely horrible!
Now this loss though still pisses me off when i think about it. I'm sure everyone knows that i absolutely cannot stand Pittsburgh or their rapist quarterback. I don't know who is worse-Steelers fans, Colts fans or Rex Ryan. Honestly, it's probably a fricken tie. I cant stand them all.
But anyways, i digress. Defense was horrible like it usually almost is. And how the hell Gronkowski missed that field goal attempt, idk. But whatever its over and done with. Maybe if Brady's last throw there at the end wasn't a fumble and if Polamalu wouldn't have punched the ball into the endzone for a safety, it would have ended differently. maybe.
And what the hell was up with all of the false starts we got? How hard is it to just wait til its time to make the play? Im by no means a football, but come on! it cannot be that hard.
Something else i don't understand is why Bill Belichick is being blown some shit over this game. He's a phenomenal coach. Who gives a shit if we lose a game against a good team. At least he's doing a better job at coaching that Jim Caldwell. Its up to the players on how well they perform the plays and rulings that Coach Belichick gives out. Belichick's not the one that is out there throwing the ball, catching, kicking, et cetera, et cetera.
