Who's Ready For Some Football?

THIS GIRL FOR SURE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luckily for me, I'm always rocking my New England Pride with my tattoos!

Preseason Week 2

So before I state the scores from week 2 of the preseason, let me just state a few things that happened this week.

With the whole quarterback situation up for grabs in Denver, you would think that Mark Sanchez would do his absolute best to bring his A-game to every single game during preseason. I mean, the dude wants to be the starting quarterback, right? To be that, you have to prove that you deserve it, are the better of the options, and actually your team far into the season with succeeding. When Sanchez finally started playing on Saturday, Trevor Siemian started, he was 9 of 10. That looks good, right? But it's Sanchez, so there was an almost interception. But that's not the end of it. A pair of fumbles right before halftime and an awful start and the beginning of the third quarter followed suit. So where does this leave Mark Sanchez? Is he still in the lead for the starting quarterback position or will he lose out to Siemian or Lynch. Siemian had a pick six, Sanchez with the fumbles, and Lynch also with an interception but 2 touchdowns. I don't know. Regardless, I don't give a shit about the fucking Broncos or what they choose to do at the quarterback position. I honestly am not sure why I typed all that. LOL Here's to the Denver Broncos NOT making playoffs.

Next, I caught the ending of the Ravens and Colts while I was out having some drinks and I was able to catch Levine Sr., take Indianapolis' attempt for a two-point conversion back for two points for the Ravens. I was also able to catch McAfee's attempt for the 62-yard field goal come up no good. That was also very nice to watch. I know it's just preseason, but still. I enjoyed it.

Finally, my boys went on to beat the Chicago Bears 23-22. After Brandon Bolden fumbled after a near touchdown run, 2nd round draft pick Cyrus Jones intercepted Brian Hoyer. Can I just say that in the past two games that I have watched Cyrus Jones, I have been so impressed by him. He definitely was a smart pick up from the draft. Garoppolo completed 16 out of 21 attempts for 181 yards with 1 touchdown. Brady was set to start but not long before the game, he was downgraded to out and was seen in his dress clothes leaving the facility. Come to find out, he cut his finger with a pair of scissors doing something with the bottom of his cleats. This would have been the last time he would start at Gillette Stadium until October 16th, as he is having to serve his four-game suspension for the whole Deflategate mess. According to Ian Rapoport, we might not even see him in uniform until October because of the thumb thing....LOL LOL. Who knows?

Preseason Week 1

Finally, the 2016-2017 football season is finally upon us as we approach the end of week one of preseason. Only three more weeks of games that do not officially matter and then it all counts. I usually say that Preseason doesn't really matter, but this season is a little different for me and all Patriots fans. With Tom Brady's four-game suspension upheld, Jimmy Garoppolo needs all the practice that he can get before those first four games. I totally have faith in him and think that he can do it, I just think that after what I saw on Thursday night, he does still need these extra games as practice. He started off a little shaky but as the night went on, he seemed to have gotten a little bit more comfortable. As long as we get a 2-2 record, at least for the first four games, I'll be happy because once Brady comes back, he's going to light it up.

Here are the scores from Week One of Preseason, minus the Houston and San Francisco score as that game is currently at half time.
  • Saints 22, Patriots 34
  • Buccaneers 9, Eagles 17
  • Redskins 17, Falcons 23
  • Panthers 19, Ravens 22
  • Jaguars 13, Jets 17
  • Broncos 22, Bears 0
  • Dolphins 27, Giants 10
  • Lions 30, Steelers 17
  • Vikings 17, Bengals 16
  • Browns 11, Packers 17
  • Raiders 31, Cardinals 10
  • Seahawks 17, Chiefs 16
  • Colts 19, Bills 18
  • Chargers 10, Titans 27
  • Cowboys 24, Rams 28
Now, I know that it's preseason and these scores might not matter to some but I just cannot help but to laugh when I see the ending score to the Broncos and Bears game.
