Week 5 Injuries

Week 5 definitely saw some injuries heading into the week and after..

New York Giants

•  Andre Brown suffered a concussion during the game against the Browns Sunday. 
• Martellus Bennett suffered a hyperextended knee Sunday.
• Kenny Phillips, Hakeem Nicks, Rocky Bernard and Ramses Barden were all inactive Sunday.
• Corey Webster suffered a hand and a hamstring injury against the Browns.
• Michael Boley was comming off of a hip injury and was active.
• Keith Rivers is nursing a hamstring injury.

Cleveland Browns 

• Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin were out during the game against the Giants this past Sunday due to hamstring injuries
• Ahtyba Rubin left Sunday's game with a lower leg injury.
• Alex Smith was out due to a concussion.

New York Jets 

• will be without Dustin Keller (hamstring), Stephen Hill (hamstring), John Conner and Sione Pouha tonight.

Green Bay Packers

• Chad Clifton was out against the Colts Sunday because of a hamstring issue.
• Jermichael Finley suffered a shoulder injury.
• Cedric Benson left the locker room Sunday in a walking boot, although he does not believe that he suffered a lisfranc sprain.
• B.J Raji rolled his ankle against Indy.
• Greg Jennings and Davon House was inactive.
• James Starks was out due to a toe injury lol.

• LaRod Stephens-Howling, suffering with a hip injury, and Jim Dray were out Thursday. 
• Ryan Williams suffered a left shoulder injury Thursday night against the Rams. 
• Reggie Walker took a blow to the head Thursday.
• Todd Heap was inactive due to his knee.
• Darnell Dockett had been coming off a hamstring injury
• Arizona was without quarterback John Skelton due to his ankle.

Atlanta Falcons

• Antone Smith re-injured his hamstring against the Redskins Sunday.
• Stephen Nicholas suffered a knee injury.

Baltimore Ravens

• Torrey Smith had a little bit of an ankle issue but played during the game against Kansas City.

Houston Texans

• Ben Tate is questionable tonight due to a toe injury. 
• Andre Johnson (groin), Antoine Caldwell (ankle), Wade Smith (knee), Owen Daniels (thigh) are all probable tonight.
• Lestar Jean is dealing with a knee injury and did not practice this weekend.

Buffalo Bills

• Mark Anderson suffered an undisclosed injury.
• Aaron Williams had a hand injury.
• Jairus Byrd was dealt a chest injury.
• Chad Rinehart left the game due to a calf injury.

Carolina Panthers

• Chris Gamble was inactive due to his shoulder.
• Jon Beason was out due to his knee.

Washington Redskins

• Brandon Meriweather was inactive due to a knee injury.
• Cedric Griffin was out due to a hamstring injury.
• Robert Griffin III suffered a concussion Sunday against the Falcons.

• Alshon Jeffery has to have an x-ray done on his hand.
• Kahlil Bell was inactive.
• Earl Bennett was out due to a hand injury.
• Johnny Knox has yet to return to his full speed so he was out all thanks to a back injury.

Cincinnati Bengals

• Bernard Scott was placed on IR due to a knee injury.
• Dre Kirkpatrick was out due to a knee injury.
• Jason Allen was inactive due to a quadriceps injury.

Dallas Cowboys

• Matt Johnson is dealing with a hamstring and back injury.

Detroit Lions

• Jahvid Best is out with a concussion and has to undergo a bunch of tests this week.

Denver Broncos

• Keith Brooking suffered a concussion against the bad ass Patriots.

Indianapolis Colts

• Robert Mathis suffered a knee sprain.
• Mewelde Moore was inactive due to his ankle.
• Pat Angerer was out with his foot.

Miami Dolphins

• Daniel Thomas possibly suffered a concussion Sunday.
• Richard Marshall was out with his back.

New England Patriots

• Tracy White had a left foot injury by the end of the game Sunday.
• Dont'a Hightower was out with a hamstring injury.
• Aaron Hernandez was still inactive against the Broncos because of his ankle. 
• Julian Edelman was still out due to his hand.

Jacksonville Jaguars

• Laurent Robinson was out with a concussion.
• Daryl Smith was ruled out with a groin injury.
• George Selvie was out with his knee.

Kansas City Chiefs

• Matt Cassel's sexy ass was knocked out against the Ravens when he was drilled in his shoulder.
• Peyton Hillis was out with his ankle.

Minnesota Vikings

• Marvin Mitchell was dealing with an injury to his calf.

New Orleans Saints

• Lance Moore was out with a hamstring.
• David Hawthorne did not play due to his hamstring as well.

Philadelphia Eagles

• Akeem Jordan did not play against the Steelers because of his hamstring.
• Riley Cooper was inactive because of a collarbone injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers

• Troy Polamalu was back after dealing with a calf injury but aggravated his calf injury once again Sunday while playing against the Eagles. Dumb.
• Lamarr Woodley hurt his hamstring Sunday.
• David DeCastro was put on the IR due to his knee.

San Diego Chargers

• Nate Kaeding was out because of his groin.

St. Louis Rams

• Danny Amendola is out for a few weeks due to his shoulder injury.
• Mario Haggan suffered a thigh injury during the game against Arizona.
• Quintin Mikell was out with a head injury.
