Before the 2012 football season and training camp, the New England Patriots made one of the best decisions that I think they could have ever made: they released WR Chad Ochocinco.
Ochocinco was probably one of the worst signings I think they have ever made in the years that I have been a fan, besides signing Haynesworth as well. LOL. He was horrible as a Patriot. He didn't seem to be able to grasp the playbook at all. He managed to catch 15 passes for 276 yards with one touchdown the entire season. Absolutely remarkable. This WR played worse this season than he had his first year in the NFL. That's absolutely horrible in my opinion. You would think that someone who held himself in such high regard would actually have played at least a little better than he did.
I never wanted this douchebag to be a Patriot. When he was playing for the Cincinnati Bengals, he was just a cocky, arrogant son of a bitch. He's headed down the same path that his good buddy, T.O is headed down...retirement. These two are definitely overrated and washed out. They should take a page out of Brett Favre's book and just call it a day and retire.
But until that day comes, at least he is no longer a New England Patriot. Good luck in Miami, bro. I'm sure you're going to need it. From what I hear, you're still behind learning the Dolphins' playbook after missing seven out of the past nine sessions. Awesome. Your motivation to be a badass player is just mind-boggling. Have fun earning your $925,000 with Miami as opposed to the $3 million you were scheduled to receive...
