What the hell is going on right now with New England? I don't know what it is but I am absolutely fucking loving it!!! This does not even look like the team that got defeated by Cincinnati last week. Landing a field goal in the opening drive left me with mixed emotions. Unable to score the touchdown, me being the pessimistic person that I am, thought that that was going to be the way that the game was going to go. Nothing but field goals and punting. Boy was a wrong!!!
New England's offense and defense has definitely come alive today!! When wide receiver, Aaron Dobson, dropped that first pass I swear a little piece of me died. Lol but to see him redeem himself later on in the first half was awesome! Quarterback Brady running to a first down was such a great site to see. So far, Stevan Ridley has ran in 2 touchdowns, leaving the score at halftime 17-7. New England.
Heading into this game, there was a lot of feelings of ups & downs with the speculating of whether or not tight-end Rob Gronkowski would be back on the field today. Gronk's been off the field now since the Colts/Patriots game of last season after breaking his forearm. He's had multiple surgeries on his forearm and a surgery on his back since. He's been spotted at practices being a complete bad ass. His doctor has yet to clear him to play come Sundays. Maybe they're trying to keep him healthy in time for the playoffs but we're struggling. We're making due without him but his presence is still definitely missed.
Talib is limping off the field....not good.
As you can see, the second half has started so my ass is out! Catch ya on the Around the NFL: Week 6 edition later this week! :)
