What an interesting first Football Sunday of the regular season!!
No surprise here but the New England Patriots busted out a win against the Tennessee Titans! 34-13. Of course, living in this state and having the home team playing at the same time, watching the game was practically impossible for me. Thanks to Kirsch words on the Patriots website, I was able to know the play-by-play. The win today marked the ninth consecutive season-opening win for these badasses.
With scoring one of our first touchdowns, with Lloyd and Welker dropping passes, Brady threw to Hernandez and Gronkowski, which of course, ended in a touchdown...Really, Welker? Dropping passes just like you did during the Superbowl costing us the win? Yeah, that's not helping your game at all. I see no long-term contract in your future. You are done in New England after this season.
Last season, the Patriots defense was absolutely horrible but this year, lord did they do some work!! Pretty damn decent O-line and with defense looking good, I think we're headed in a great direction.
PLAYER OF THE GAME: Stevan Ridley
