First time that I checked my phone, the score was Patriots 7, Buffalo 0. I was excited. I'm not really sure why I start getting really excited in the first quarter. There's still 3 other quarters to worry about. Lol.
But anyways, after about an hour or so, I checked a.nd sure enough, it was tied. Feeling a little anxious, I was just like whatever. We got this. Then I received a text message asking me what was up with the Patriots. Honestly, I don't know what was happening. First we're ahead. Then we're down 21-7. What the hell?! Tom Brady, being the bad ass that he is, managed to lead his team and scoring 45 points in the second half. Patriots won 52-28. Hell yeah! Fucking right!!
Top performers for this game had to be Bolden & good ole Wes Welker. Welker had 9 receiving passes for 129 yards, while Bolden had 16 carries for 137 yards with one touchdown. New England had 33 first downs and 16 total drives. 22 out of 36 passes were completed and there were no interceptions thrown. They had 2 turnovers, which were both fumbles. Brady threw for 340 yards with 3 touchdowns. Badass! Patriots produced 580 total yards.
Patriots fans, like myself, got to see sexy Rob Gronkowski receive 5 passes for 104 yards and score a touchdown. Mmm mmm mmm! That man is one hell of a sexy beast!!
"Down 21-7 and on the road, backs against the wall, and I thought we showed a lot of heart. That's what this team is made of. And we're going to battle until the end. I know that."-New England quarterback, Tom BradyNow the Buffalo Bills top performer was none other than Fitzpatrick. He threw for 4 touchdowns, 4 interceptions for 350 yards. The Bills had a total of 19 TURNOVERS and no first down from penalties. They ran a total of 69 plays....what an interesting number to stop at... ;) Fitzpatrick completed 22 out of 39 passes. With a total of 6 turnovers, only two resulted from fumbles and the other 4 were thrown interceptions. Buffalo really were not able to stop the runs. No complaints here.
Final Score:
Patriots 52
Buffalo 28
